Marketing Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Gold Coast team and work closely alongside the founders and marketing team to strengthen day-to-day marketing operations, planning, and execution.

This role is focused on structure, organisation, and delivery. You will ensure marketing initiatives are clearly planned, properly resourced, and executed on time across digital and retail channels. This role is about operational leadership, campaign coordination, and ensuring alignment across teams.

You’ll act as a central point of coordination within the marketing function, helping streamline workflows, clarify priorities, and maintain momentum across all launches and brand moments. This is a hands-on position for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys bringing order and clarity to creative teams.

Responsibilities

Marketing Planning & Execution

  • Own the marketing calendars and campaign timelines across all channels
  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of collection launches and key marketing initiatives
  • Ensure all deliverables are tracked, deadlines are met, and teams remain aligned
  • Work closely with founders to translate business priorities into actionable marketing plans
  • Identify bottlenecks or gaps and proactively resolve them
  • Ensure all teams are aligned on launch dates, deliverables, and key moments throughout the year


Team Coordination & KPIs

  • Work alongside the founders to set clear KPIs, goals, and measures of success across channels
  • Establish clear processes, timelines, and expectations for campaign execution
  • Help keep the team accountable to timelines and commitments, ensuring momentum and follow-through
  • Identify gaps, risks, or delays early and work collaboratively to keep projects moving
  • Foster a supportive, organised, and communicative team environment
  • Help refine marketing processes, workflows, and ways of working as the team and business continue to grow
  • Support hiring and onboarding within the marketing function as needed


Brand Messaging & Voice

  • Work closely with the founders to translate the brand’s vision, tone, and creative direction into clear marketing messaging
  • Develop and maintain a brand messaging guide that outlines tone of voice, key narratives, and communication principles
  • Ensure consistency in brand language, storytelling, and messaging across campaigns, digital channels, retail, and PR
  • Support campaign messaging and copy direction to ensure it aligns with the brand’s identity
  • Act as a guardian of brand tone, ensuring all marketing outputs reflect the brand accurately and consistently


Performance & Channel Support

  • Monitor campaign results and coordinate reporting across channels
  • Ensure key learnings are documented and applied to future launches
  • Support PR, influencer, and community initiatives in collaboration with internal and external partners


Budget & Resource Coordination

  • Support allocation and tracking of marketing budgets across campaigns and channels
  • Ensure spend aligns with agreed priorities and timelines
  • Coordinate external partners, freelancers, and agencies as required
  • Assist founders in assessing resourcing needs as the marketing function grows


Launch Readiness & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Lead internal launch meetings to ensure all departments are aligned before go-live
  • Create clear pre-launch checklists and post-launch debrief frameworks
  • Ensure retail, e-commerce and PR teams are fully briefed and prepared


Reporting & Performance Rhythm

  • Own weekly or monthly marketing reporting cadence
  • Consolidate channel insights into clear summaries for founders
  • Track performance against agreed KPIs and flag risks early

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in brand or marketing roles within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands
  • Strong experience managing campaigns and marketing operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Confident communicator who works well collaboratively across teams
  • Commercially aware and comfortable working with performance metrics
  • Experience working within a team structure, supporting and guiding rather than managing hierarchically.
  • Must be based on the Gold Coast, Australia, and able to work on-site
